GUITARÂ LESSONS
For almost as long as i have been playing I have been teaching guitar. As the years have gone by I have been able to develop my style of teaching as I have progressed as a musician. Being a fully trained teacher has also given me the skills to plan, teach and assess in a way that can ensure progression.

Helping people to develop their guitar playing has always filled me with great satisfaction, even just sharing my knowledge during a jamming session amongst friends, sometimes its the best platform for learning. That's why I like to tailor the style of teaching to my students.

Some students thrive on the structured style of learning, whereas others like a more flexible approach where they can request support with specific areas of their playing, ask questions and learn techniques and strategies to help them to progress further.

All of my students see progression with their playing but how much is generally dictated by how inspired they are to learn what they have been taught. By making lessons comfortable, achievable and relevant to my students I feel that I am able to keep them engaged and hopefully inspired to learn more.
BEGINNER MUSIC LESSONS
Starting to learn an instrument is exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. Starting with the desire to make music like your favourite musicians and the work involved in achieving the set of skills to develop that kind of playing style is why beginner music lessons are so popular.

Having a structured start that highlights the basic skills needed to get playing on the guitar and develop your style can take some of the hard work out of the learning process. Breaking down the stages into chunks of learning, based around a song or melody with an achievable outcome can inspire success which is another reason why lessons are tailored to the student.
